This wine, which recognises the Seven Jesuit winemakers following Sevenhill's establishment in 1851, is a genuine super-premium flagship wine of great substance.
The wine draws on fruit of amazing provenance, sourced from 17 rows of over 160-year-old Shiraz from Sevenhill's oldest vineyard. These low-yielding vines produced a small quantity each year of high-end Shiraz, which is a superb expression of varietal character and site-specific character.
Sevenhill Seven Brothers 1860 Old-Vine Shiraz 2012 (Limited Release) is only produced on select years when the fruit is exceptional and when produced, limited to around 600 bottles per vintage.
