Sangiovese, one of Italy’s most famous varieties, is a light and easy wine to go with (Italian) food. Vibrant fresh cherry with underlying spice, this is Mike de Iuliis' trip back to his Italian heritage by making a crack at making one of Italy s most versatile grape varietals!

Fresh and vibrant red fruits dominate the aroma. The palate is characterised by the hallmark savoury tannin structure and crisp acidity. This wine is exceptional drinking in its youth but it will be interesting to see how this wine progresses with a few years of bottle age.
